MGA, Monash Gallery of Art is the Australian home of photography and is recognised as one of Australia's leading public galleries.
MGA hosts a range of free Australian and international photography exhibitions annually. MGA also has a strong travelling exhibition program that sees a collection tour to regional Victorian and interstate galleries.
MGA develops and preserves a nationally significant collection of Australian photographs and is unique among Australian cultural organisations indeed, it is the only cultural institution in the country - regional, state and national, whose collection is focused solely on Australian photographs. As such, MGA is a cultural institution of national importance.
