Makers on Church St is a vibrant, spacious and welcoming place to visit. This is a must see when visiting Geeveston which is only a 45-minute drive south of Hobart and a great stopover on your way to the well known southern tourist attractions including Hartz Mountains, Tahune AirWalk and Hastings Caves.
Filled with amazing Tasmanian woodcraft and handcrafts by people that just love to make beautiful things, including Tasmanian timber furniture, wood turned items crafted from huon pine, sassafras, myrtle and blackwood.
Also home to the well known handmade range of DeEmDe Trendy Kids clothing and accessories, handmade teddy bears and signs, cards, jewellery, knitting, crochet and so much more.
Our main focus is handmade - but you will also find studios stocked to the brim with scarves, beanies, gym and leotard costumes, an eclectic collection of books, cards, gifts and so much more.
You can visit every week day, and we are only too happy to help out with Huon Valley tourist information. The Visitor Centre is located across the road and you may even be lucky enough to view a platypus in Heritage Park.
