Artefacts is an Art collective established in 1986 run by local artists. It is located in Salamanca Arts Centre Battery Point, Hobart in the Alcoves. There are seven member artists whose practices include watercolour, jewellery, glass, leather and ceramics. Salamanca Arts Centre is the art heart of Hobart and visitors flock to the centre and the famous Salamanca Markets whenever they find themselves in Tasmania.
