From October 31st to November 3rd, this historic district will turn into a haunted wonderland, brimming with spine-tingling thrills and ghostly delights at every turn. Prepare for a Halloween experience like no other, where the supernatural blends seamlessly with Sydney’s ghostly history.
Halloween Market
By day, the Halloween Market is a lively spot where vendors offer local goods and tasty treats, and visitors explore historic alleys. As night falls, however, the market takes on a darker atmosphere. Beneath its vibrant surface, eerie secrets come to light, transforming the market into a realm of unsettling stories and restless spirits. Each flickering shadow reveals a piece of the market's dark past, leading you on a thrilling journey through its haunted history. The theatre group “Deadhouse” will animate the streets of The Rocks, recounting chilling tales of ghosts and murders that linger in the precinct.
Silent Zombie Disco Party
When night falls, the Tallowoladah Lawn in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art becomes a supernatural dance floor with the Silent Zombie Disco Party. By day, the lawn mirrors a chaotic Zombieland, featuring eerie soundscapes and undead-themed installations that bring zombies “to life.” As darkness descends, the space transforms into an exhilarating undead party under a haunting moonlit sky, where zombie dancers take centre stage.
A massive 5-meter automated zombie head booth will host an impressive lineup of DJs, making this an iconic Sydney event you won’t want to miss.
Ice Bath
For those craving a truly chilling experience, Poliakov’s “Reborn from Ice” offers a unique thrill. Brave participants will immerse themselves in an icy abyss, enjoy a vodka tasting, and receive eerie Halloween makeup. This chilling ritual sets the stage for an unforgettable night at the Zombie Silent Disco Party. For an even deeper dive, grab a headset and join the Zombie Silent Disco, where spine-tingling tunes and electrifying beats fuel a dance-off among the undead.
