Starting December 1, 2024, Cebu Pacific will enhance capacity on the Sydney-Manila route with daily flights operated by their high-density, fuel-efficient Airbus A330neo aircraft. Each A330neo is configured with 459 Economy Class seats.

The Airbus A330neo is the latest-generation aircraft that offers 15% better fuel efficiency and reduced noise compared to its predecessors. This improvement not only cuts fuel consumption but also lowers carbon emissions, making the flights more environmentally friendly.

With the launch of Cebu Pacific's daily service in December, Sydney Airport will offer the highest capacity to the Philippines in Australia. Seat availability from Sydney to Manila will increase by 44% compared to December 2019 levels, with a total of 3,213 weekly seats.

Cebu Pacific is running a sale from September 6-10 to celebrate this expanded capacity, offering flights from Sydney to Manila for as low as AU$209 one-way, all-inclusive. This promotion is ideal for those planning a visit to the Philippines during the warm summer months.

For travellers from the Philippines needing accommodation before or after their flight, Sydney offers a variety of Sydney short stay apartments. These fully furnished apartments provide a convenient and comfortable base for your stay, ensuring you can enjoy Sydney’s attractions or relax before your journey.

“We are proud to be the only airport in Australia offering a daily service to Manila, providing passengers with unparalleled choice and convenience when travelling to Sydney,” said Scott Charlton, CEO of Sydney Airport.

“This new route not only strengthens our connection with the Philippines but also offers seamless access to Manila, creating opportunities for both business and leisure. We are excited to support Cebu Pacific in delivering this valuable service and anticipate a positive impact on both our communities.”

Cebu Pacific began its Sydney-Manila operations on September 9, 2014, and the route has since become one of the airline’s most popular international services.

“We are excited to expand our network at Sydney Airport. This growth underscores our commitment to improving global connectivity and enhancing convenience for our passengers from Australia,” said Xander Lao, President and CCO of Cebu Pacific.

“The Philippines offers a diverse range of attractions for every type of traveller. With our extensive domestic network and affordable fares, we hope more visitors from Sydney will have the chance to explore the country’s pristine beaches, delicious cuisine, and vibrant festivals.”

For travellers needing accommodation before or after their flight, Sydney offers a variety of short-stay options. Corporate Keys, a leading provider of serviced apartments, offers well-equipped apartments perfect for fully furnished extended stays in Sydney. These accommodations provide a comfortable and convenient base for your time in Sydney, ensuring you can enjoy the city’s attractions or relax before your journey.
