Japingka Gallery, located on two floors of heritage-listed warehouse in Fremantle's historic West End has over 4,500 Aboriginal artworks from around Australia. See major artists from Central and Western Desert, Kimberley, Arnhem Land, Northern Queensland and other important art producing regions. The gallery is open seven days, closed on public holidays.
The directors have worked with Aboriginal artists for over 30 years. Japingka is a member of the Indigenous Art Code and Aboriginal Art Association of Australia, ensuring fair trade and ethical sourcing of artworks. All their artworks are fully documented, including certificate of provenance, artist details and story of the artwork.
