The Surry Hills Markets are an essential fundraiser for the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre, specialising in handmade, second-hand and recycled goods. The markets are held on the first Saturday of every month in Shannon Reserve, on the corner of Crown and Collins Streets. The market is one of Sydney's most iconic and unique open air markets and operates regardless of weather, however, if it's particularly wet, the market may be restricted to paved areas. Over the Christmas and New Year periods, the normal schedule is maintained. The Surry Hills Markets are a must-visit for all – ask the locals! Vintage fashion, valuable antiques, books, hand-made beauty products and designer labels – our markets have it all.
