The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (GCAC) is a world-class swimming and aquatic venue located in the Gold Coast’s stunning Broadwater Parklands. A star performer during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018), the GCAC was the venue for the swimming and diving events and continues to host regular local, national and international elite sporting competitions. All outdoor pools at the GCAC are heated to 28 degrees Celsius and can be adjusted according to particular requirements. Their facilities include: 10 lane, 50 metre outdoor competition pool. 8 lane, 50 metre outdoor training pool. 7 lane, 25 metre outdoor program pool. 33 x 22 metres outdoor dive pool with dive heights at 1, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10 metres. 10 x 15 metres indoor learn to swim pool. 300 square-metre indoor 'dry dive' training facility. Children’s splash pool with tipping buckets. Hot and cold hydrotherapy in ground tubs. Fully equipped fitness centre with functional training areas and modern equipment. The GCAC is more than just world-class swimming pools with a range of health and well-being products and activities available for the whole family including: Infant aquatic and learn to swim programs. Squad. Group fitness classes including aqua aerobics and deep water running Aquatic events and promotions. The GCAC offers modern versatile meeting rooms and open air event spaces with views of the world-class pools and stunning Broadwater.
