Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain in the metropolitan area. At 85 metres it offers sweeping views over the Indian Ocean, Perth and beyond to the Darling Scarp with glimpses of the Swan River. The easy 200 metre Top Trail is accessible via Scenic Drive off Oceanic Drive.
The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, which manages Bold Park, initiated the Reabold Hill Enhancement Project in 2002 to provide improved visitor facilities, public safety and access for all to the lookout. The elevated boardwalk, which is wheelchair accessible, immerses visitors in a bushland experience as they journey to the summit. There is interpretive signs, seating, artwork inspired by life in a Tuart tree and 14 timber landings to take in the views. Restoration planting using local, indigenous plants enhances the existing flora which features Banksias, Wattles, Quandongs and other limestone loving plants such as the Cockies Tongue.
Vehicle access to Reabold Hill is restricted to the following times: 1 April to 31 October from 5.30am to 7.00pm and 1 November to 31 March from 5.30am to 8.00pm.
