John Forrest Tavern is located in the heart of John Forrest National Park, one of Australia's oldest conservation areas and Western Australia's first national park.
It is a great place to stop for lunch. Sit outside in the courtyard and you are very likely to encounter many native birds and the local kangaroos are happy grazing around outside any time of the day, having become quite accustomed to being a star attraction for visitors.
The Tavern is open every day and is a perfect spot to relax and quench your thirst after a hike on one of the many trails found in the park.
