Established in 1981, Elmswood Estate is a family-owned winery in the Yarra Valley that handcrafts award-winning wines. All the wines are estate grown, made and bottled to represent the purest expression of its unique and local terroir.
The vineyard is located at 240 metres above sea level in an area known unofficially as the Upper Yarra due to its higher altitude and cooler conditions. Known for having some of the best views in the Yarra Valley, Elmswood Estate offers panoramic views of the vineyard, valley and beyond.
Due to its idyllic location, the property is also highly sought after for weddings and functions. Its most prominent venue space is known as The Pavilion with all glass ceiling to floor windows, adjoined by an extensive high deck that overlooks the vines, rolling hills and mountain ranges.
Cellar door is open for wine tasting and cheese platters on weekends 11:00am to 5:00pm. Group bookings are essential.
High tea is also offered every Saturday and Sunday with two seating times per day: 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Available by booking only.
