Just one hour out from Melbourne, Cannibal Creek Vineyard is a boutique, award-winning, single estate Vineyard owned and operated by winemakers Pat and Kirsten Hardiker. In 2018 it was recognised as Cellar Door with Best Food in Gippsland by Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine and again in 2020 Star Cellar Door Best Large Cellar Door and Cellar Door with Best Food. Cannibal Creek wine is picked and made onsite, by hand, using traditional methods and French oak. Sit at the long jarrah bar or a table to sample the range of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sparkling Blanc de Blancs, and Vin de Liqueur. Cannibal Creek Vineyard is warm and friendly, offering tutored sit down wine tastings with or without accompanying sample plates and light meals in an Australian country setting. Sit by the wood fire indoors, stretch out on the covered verandah, or take a bushwalk up nearby Mount Cannibal, it's the perfect spot for taking in some country calm while staying in Gippsland or within easy commute back to Melbourne.
