As one of Australia’s earliest organic meat producers, they transitioned their family farm — Cherry Tree Downs — in Victoria’s picturesque South Gippsland region to organic farming in the early 1990s. They did this to optimise the taste and health benefits of their meat and reflect their commitment to animal welfare and sustainability.
Today Cherry Tree Organics run a fully sustainable farm that produces award-winning lamb and beef for local and international customers. They also offer top quality certified organic pork and chicken, sourced from like-minded family farms in Victoria and Queensland.
