Since their humble beginnings over 25 years ago, The Ark Clothing Co. has been designed and made in Melbourne by a community of like-minded people who believe design should always be imbued with integrity. Proudly Australian owned with an incredibly passionate and talented team, The Ark has 8 retail boutiques and an e-commerce store. Making small runs of their beautiful designs locally and ethically in Australia and supporting the talented makers they are lucky to work with every day is at the heart of who they are and what they do. In 2012, The Ark was awarded ethical accreditation by Ethical Clothing Australia to acknowledge that all staff, from designers to manufacturers and everyone in between, are working together to bring their customers clothes that are made in an ethical supply chain. They are passionate about supporting the Australian Fashion Industry and intensely proud of being Ethically Accredited. Committed to making a difference, they exercise socially responsible practices knowing they have the potential to not only transform the ways in which they view and understand fashion, but also the opportunity to change people's lives.
