Enjoy 22.2 hectares of foreshore parkland, including large areas of irrigated grass for natural play, on the north western side of Lake Burley Griffin. Black Mountain Peninsula was designed for enjoying the lake. Use the boat launching ramp for non-powered craft and go sail away. Swim, paddle or just stroll along the beach or the water's edge. Picnic areas, drinking fountains and all-ability-access playgrounds make this an ideal spot to enjoy the lakeside environment. Their Liberty Swing is purpose built for people in wheelchairs.
