Welcome to the National Library of Australia – the home of your story. Our three exhibition galleries are free to enter and open from 9 am to 5 pm every day. Explore the artists of the 'Picturesque Atlas of Australasia' in 'A Nation Imagined: The Artists of the Picturesque Atlas', presented in partnership with the Art Gallery of New South Wales; explore Australians' relationships with their waterways in 'Rivers: Lifeblood of Australia'; and discover highlights from our collection in the Treasures Gallery. The National Library Bookshop is open daily, as is Bookplate Café. The Reading Rooms are open daily except on public holidays.
