The Gallery encompasses two public exhibition spaces and draws on the School’s rich academic research across studio-based disciplines and the Centre for Art History and Art Theory. The spaces present a diverse annual calendar of exhibitions, public programs and publications.
The School of Art & Design Gallery critically frames contemporary art and design practice, and presents graduate and post-graduate work in a professional gallery context, reflecting the international profile of the School. The Gallery also hosts the end of year Graduating Exhibition, which displays the achievements of graduating students completing awards in undergraduate and postgraduate programs by coursework.
Project Space (formerly Foyer Space) is an access gallery and project space, giving artists an exhibition space to experiment with new ideas, research outcomes and projects in a professional and high traffic environment.
