Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is located in the heart of the Queensland Cultural Centre within Brisbane's popular South Bank precinct a short walk over the Brisbane River from Brisbane's CBD. Set to become Australia's largest Performing Arts Centre, following the targeted completion of a fifth theatre venue in late 2022, QPAC welcomes visitors from around the world to a diverse range of live performance events and experiences year-round. QPAC's program features artists and companies across a wide variety of performance genres, attracting the world's best musical theatre productions, ballet companies, orchestras, musicians, thought leaders, actors, singers, magicians and comedians alongside investing in the development of new performing arts experiences that share relevant stories with audiences. It is a place of world premieres, major events and festivals, and regular seasons by Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Ballet, Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Opera Queensland. There's a choice of dining experiences and bars including the Lyrebird Restaurant, Russell Street Wine Bar, The Cafe and The Bistro.
