This family-owned and operated restaurant (even the head chef is one of the owners), provides a range of options for hearty breakfasts, brunches and lunches, and delectable dinners that include fresh, succulent North Stradbroke Island seafood, tender steaks, and a range of vegetarian and gluten free choices. The fully licensed restaurant also offers AUD15 cocktails, eat-in weekly special nights featuring steak, ribs and parmigiana, and live music from 5pm to 8pm every Saturday. Fishes, which cooks with vegetable oils that are afterwards sent for recycling into fuel, also boasts great coffee that patrons return for time and time again. After a day of island exploring, whale watching or sun and sand, Fishes at the Point is the ideal place to relax over a coffee, drink or meal while listening to the surf roll in as kangaroos graze nearby.
