Located in Melbourne’s prestigious St. Collins Lane, MNDATORY is an independent Australian designer menswear brand. Inspired by the design philosophies of architect Louis Kahn, MNDATORY aims to build on wardrobe fundamentals through a transformative design approach. Specialising in men’s outerwear and tailoring, MNDATORY releases two ready-to-wear collections per year, alongside a permanent made-to-measure tailoring service for local customers.
Since launching in 2016, MNDATORY has been named:
A finalist for the National Designer Award on 3x consecutive occasions (2018, 2019, 2020); a finalist for the 2020 Westpac Private Bank Emerging Fashion Designer Award; and the winner of the 2019 St.George NextGen Prize as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
