Kilgour St Grocer

Kilgour St Grocer is a corner store in central Geelong with specialty coffee, grocery essentials and very good sandwiches. In a quiet residential pocket just south of the CBD, Kilgour St Grocer is known for outstanding coffee (roasted by them!) and sandwiches as well as all the usual things you'd find at your local: bread, milk, newspapers, cakes, pantry supplies, kitchenware and lots of good cheer. Pretty much everything on their shelves is local, organic or small-batch, and they pride themselves on using produce from the area where possible. They've put a modern spin on old-school hospitality, and they like to do the simple things well. Visit them for a coffee, a classic sandwich (their Egg and Bacon rolls and BLTs have a cult following), a chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven and some fancy things for the pantry.
