There is far more to Indian cuisine than butter chicken and naan bread – the Indian subcontinent’s culinary traditions are varied, healthy and amazingly delicious.
What sets Bollywood Masala apart is a passion for fresh ingredients, traditional ways of cooking, balanced with an innovative approach that lets modern Indian dishes happily co-exist with traditional fare. While you will find the ubiquitous butter chicken and rogan josh on the menu, you will also find innovative dishes like stuffed squid, tandoori rack of lamb and signature dishes like the baby leg of lamb, their fig and almond kulfi, M&M naan and pistachio panacotta.
Freshness is certainly part of the secret – they make their own paneer (Indian soft cheese), dahi (yoghurt) and they roast and grind all spices in-house. This labour of love, together with curries and tandoori dishes made to order, breads piping hot from the tandoor, has lead to rave reviews from customers on Trip Advisor and Dimmi among others, and local restaurant and catering association awards.
