Manning Clark House Inc. is a national scholarly and cultural organisation based in the former home of Australian historian Professor Manning Clark and his wife Dymphna. It hosts a vigorous program of conferences, book launches, concerts, dinners and discussions. Visit their website for details.
The house was designed by Robin Boyd in 1952. Manning Clark's roof-top study, where A History of Australia and his other works were written, dominate the design of the spread-eagled white house in its large garden. 10,000 volumes line many of the walls inside Manning Clark's unique library.
