Opening Hours
Information not available
Due to measures in place during the COVID-19 emergency, Blundells Cottage is closed until further notice. For more details and any updates please go to the NCA website.
The recently updated displays give an insight into the lives of the families who lived in the cottage and their experiences on the Limestone Plains from the colonial period to the time when Canberra was selected as the site for the Federal Capital and during the construction of modern Canberra. So for the first time, the museum tells the whole twentieth century story of the cottage.
Bookings are not necessary unless bringing a large family group. Bookings for schools are available on Thursdays by email.
Please note: Blundell’s is over 150 years old, which means no air-conditioning and poor ventilation. From December – March, for not only your comfort, but also for your safety and that of our volunteers, Blundell’s Cottage may need to close. Visit the website for updates.
