Maiolo Wines and Vineyard is a family owned and operated business, situated 25 kilometres north of the Margaret River town site on Bussell Highway, Carbunup. The first plantings took place in 1988 and the winery was completed in 1999. Cellar door sales were officially opened in October 2000. With picturesque surrounds, and their beautifully manicured vineyard, your wine tasting experience will be enhanced. Their Mediterranean style cellar door sales area is exceptional. Rosa and Denise Maiolo welcome you to try their award winning wines, and maybe wander upstairs to have a look at their local wood turning gallery. Private charters are more than welcome, but 24 hours notice is essential. They currently produce five varieties of boutique style wines- Reds- Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Whites- Chardonnay (unwooded), Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. Wine purchases can be organised for delivery direct to you from the winery, on the day of arrival. Currently their sales are within Western Australia, New South Wales and soon to venture into Victoria. Recently they sent their first export to Tokyo Japan. The response to the wine is outstanding, and they're thrilled with the result. Their next objective is to expand into Canada, and New York City.
