Walk into a wonderland of flying butterflies! They're everywhere! Hundreds of them. All housed in an outdoor sanctuary where they are safe to fly, feed, breed, lay their eggs and continue the most magical life cycle where you can explore it up close and personal.
There is a laboratory where you can see the complete butterfly life cycle happen right in front of you - from fresh laid eggs, to caterpillars, to chrysalis to emerging adult. Relax , enjoy the magic, witness these beautiful creatures fly from flower to flower. And get the camera ready for when they land on you! Plus, there are many quirky attractions to enjoy as you wander through the garden. The facility is wheelchair friendly, has toilets, a seating area , a small plant nursery and a giant butterfly picture for that great photo opportunity.
Tips: Wear bright colours (yellow is a favourite). Butterflies are more active once they have warmed up so early afternoon is recommended).
Open: Wednesdays and Sundays only 10am to 4pm (last entry 3pm).
Entry fees apply.
Groups of 20+ are very welcome - by prior arrangement - please email.
