Lyrebird Ridge Organic Winery and Retreat is a small family owned and run business tucked away in a quiet bush setting halfway between Nowra and Kangaroo Valley . Their rustic cellar door is stocked with locally made products and crafts which gives visitors an opportunity to take home some extra South Coast supplies, along with their wines. A barbecue area is available to those looking for a quiet ( no crowds here) , covered area to have a picnic lunch or barbecue and the grassed area adjacent is perfect for the children to play under your supervision. Lyrebird Ridge Organic Winery offers visitors a chance to try high quality wine produced without the use of chemicals, herbicides and pesticides. Hand picked, basket pressed and made onsite, their Chambourcin is a true reflection of climate and location. Make sure you allow some time to wander around the property, sit by the dams or check out their chickens, ducks and sheep. If you are travelling with your pet, they are dog friendly, so you are very welcome to bring them with you. The cellar door operates Friday,Saturday and Sunday.
