Making up one of the upper levels of expansive Wollondilly Cave, Mulwaree Cave, accessible only during a guided tour, is one of Wombeyan’s most spectacular caves. The colour variations seen on the walls, the shining wax-like decorations, and the stalactites along the pathway are incredibly striking. The cave itself is 200 metres long, and there are quite a number of steps to negotiate during the one-hour guided tour, so please be well-prepared for your visit. **To keep visitors safe ALL camping in NSW national parks now requires a booking. For day visitors, please plan ahead and visit outside of peak periods (11am and 2pm).
