Gitte Backhausen is an established artist and workshop facilitator, located in beautiful Gerringong.
Predominantly known for her expressive abstract paintings, Gitte is a multidisciplinary artist which includes working with printmaking, mixed media and assemblage art.
Her work has a strong link to the surrounding nature and with her interest in psychology, this brings both familiarity and depth to her work.
