Light’s Vision is a lookout on Montefiore Hill, North Adelaide. Created in 1938, the lookout was built as a stage for its centrepiece, the life-size bronze statue of Adelaide's founding father, Colonel William Light. Light was responsible for fixing and surveying the site of the City of Adelaide in the summer of 1837 and today his statue stands on Montefiore Hill, looking out at the city he was instrumental in founding. Visitors to Light’s Vision will enjoy its sweeping views of the park lands and the city.
