Located on level 1 of ACMI, Fed Square, Hero is an uncomplicated, unaffected place where ideas of film, food, art, music and people come together to create an energetic and exciting culture in one stunningly designed space. Award winning chef, Karen Martini sits at the helm, while executive chef Diego Rosales and the legendary Philippa Sibley ride shotgun in the kitchen. Hero is a contemporary all-day eating house with a European twist. Hero’s menu reflects Martini and Gebran’s (HospitaityM Directors) love of cuisines from all over the world, the techniques and produce used to create them, but overall, Hero’s dishes showcase Martini’s cooking ethos of simply using and highlighting the absolute best of Victorian seasonal produce.
