Learn how to make your very own handmade Moroccan geometric tiles in this tile making course which runs over two sessions. In the first class, there will be discussion around what your plan is for the tiles, how to make a tile, how to reproduce tiles from a mould, 3D sculptural design, how to make a mould and procedure for drying and firing. It will then take one week to dry the mould.
The following week will cover tile production and smoothing of the tiles. Your tiles will then have to dry and be fired in the week.
At the end of the course (and after firing) you will take home 12 sculptured tiles and two moulds. Plus, you'll have all the necessary skills to create tiles for splashbacks, borders, feature panels or as gifts for family and friends!
