Sydney are right in the middle of a tough home ground run and after facing Essendon, followed by last year's beaten grand finalists Collingwood, and they now host reigning premiers the West Coast Eagles.
The Eagles are flying high but have a target on their back after an unbelievable run culminating in grand final glory last year, and the Swans will have circled this one on the calendar.
Sydney mentor Jarrad McVeigh will be in his young guns' ears and the likes of Isaac Heeney and Oliver Florent will be eager to match and better the likes of Nic Naitanui, Lewis Jetta and Nathan Vardy.
