Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival

The Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival is held every two years. The festival aims to celebrate the nurturing and welcoming nature of the town, the creativity and resourcefulness of its residents and its ability to blend traditional and new ways of doing things. Held over nine days, the feature event of the festival is the Tea Cosy Competition. Entries are exhibited every day and include traditional and whimsical tea cosies that have been crafted using a range of media depending on the imagination and ingenuity of the artist. Other events include High Tea, Market Day, tea appreciation, Devonshire Teas, craft workshops and artistic performances, which showcase the many talents of the community.
